Being stuck at home can be so annoying especially when you are not involved in anything. This can be called boredom.
Some times, this can be caused by the victim due to laziness or not just being in the mood of doing anything. Well, it is important to push oneself to get busy to make the brain active and not dull.
There are various things that you can do while you are at home. They are quiet easy to do:
First, write a poem or an essay. The truth is that you mustn't be a writer as per ' Wole Soyinka', you can write anything that comes to your mind. It maybe how you feel or the things you see, all are still writing. This will definitely make your brain busy.
Another thing you can do is to listen to music. What ever genre of music you like, try and stock up you music library to keep your music taste busy. During this period, you can try other genre just like I am. I am try the old school reggae songs and I have fallen in love with it. You should try it to; it's so relaxing.
Read a book. It's not really easy because most people tend to sleep at a first glance, but reading is another way to relax the nerves off boredom. As you read your brain is busy diluting information and keeping your imagination busy. You can go choose books from popular online book library like Okada books. You should try it today.
No one comes out of boredom except by hardwork- I mean doing something that can reduce or take you away from boredom by yourself. So it is important you give these a try. Take a walk. You can do it by yourself or with a friend. This can help you connect with nature (the trees and the air). While walking you can meet people who will start conversations that may interest you, at the same time you can meet friends.
Finally, have a quiet time with yourself and your creator. Meditate, close your eyes, you can sit, kneel, or lye down while this happen. It is important to meditate, because most times many questions are answered why you meditate.
