You will agree with me that a new born is usually very cute, but this cuteness automatically disappears from our eyes; obviously they remain cute, but the cuteness disappears when the baby cries consistently without stop and you don't even know exactly what to do to make that baby stop crying. Most times it is when the child is newly vaccinated for polio or any other infant injection which you know where that pain is coming from, another is during the babies teething period.

This period is usually very challenging and scary for mothers. New mothers tear up when they see their little child cry consistently and mothers keep talking about their baby's teething period being the worse period in nursing a baby.

Teething in Children is very delicate. This is a period when a baby of 4months begin to develop teeth, either the front teeth, back, or any part. During this period, even before the baby begin to develop the actual teeth, his or her gum begin to itch daily and most times comes with pain and endless fever, swollen gums, wanting to chew on hard things and changes in eating or sleeping patterns.

So, when you experience this as a new mother, don't panic, be calm. Calmness in any situation usually brings a good vibe. At the end of the day the situation is settled and everything ends positively. So, when the child experiences these symptoms be calm and take the child to the hospital to see your doctor and to prescribe the right teething powder and medication. Though the symptoms may resemble another kind of sickness, that is why it is important to be calm and inform your doctor immediately. Before your appointment with the doctor comes, you can sooth the pain in the gum by dipping your hand or a clean cloth in a very cold water from the fridge and  place it on the babies gum to cool it.

Note that the teething method you used for your first child may not work for your second, neither will it work for you friend's brother's baby. No, that is why you should not do any home medication for your child's teeth, meet a doctor instead to examine the teeth and to prescribe the right medication for that special baby.

Congratulations to new mothers.
