Isolated

Isolated

In the dark I wept; not tears but trust

I wept years but nobody knew

I held it between my legs

But I forgave

When she finally left me

She told the world about my grieve

She created a tale in my name

But I forgave her

I was dark in my house

A nobody in our house

She created a name for herself

She left me in the dark

But I forgave her

Years had gone

The first love was bleeding green

The lies she told were now visible

But I believed

Her eyes, her lips

Her body, beautiful to a fault

I pleaded and I cried

She never saw me

But I believed

Her eyes were full; fully crystal

Intelligent; Queen of her kingdom

One of a kind-

When your mother left me

You were there

I needed her, you did

But she needed no one

She left us hanging in the dark without a nanny

She never loved but we did

At dark I whisper her name 'Obim'

But she is gone

Gone to save the world

Without our name on it

Now it's just the two of us

I cuddle you, sing your favorite

And you sing yours because all you want is 'Obim'

In your favorite seat, I rock you day and night waiting for 'Obim'

Waiting till she changes her mind.
